This year I have been quiet about the Cowboys. Afraid to ask if this was going to be year 14 without a playoff win.However ,after beating the New Orleans Saints 24-17 I have to ask Tony Dungy to keep talking trash about the Dallas Cowboys.
Maybe, just maybe, Wade Phillips has learned how to motivate his players in December. At the Cowboys final team meeting Friday night, coach Wade Phillips played a clip of Tony Dungy's comments aired on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
Patrick: "Is their season on the line next Saturday in New Orleans?
"Dungy: "It really is. They've got to win that game otherwise they're not going to make the playoffs.
"Patrick: "Do they have any chance of winning?
"Dungy: "No chance."
