Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Hope everyone has a great Saint Patrick's Day. For me I am going home early, having some Guinness and cooking the traditional American Irish meal of Corn beef and Cabbage , potatoes and Soda Bread.

I did find an incredible sale on Guinness. I will not confess as to how much I bought, but to my friends into emergency preparedness, I am set on Guinness.

Great Fun

This year I had a great time at the North Texas Irish Festival. C and J came and even my mom joined in on the fun. Everyone had a great time.

I did not take many pictures , but I did have lots of Guinness.

Low-Life

"Thoses who Fight monsters should take care that in the process they do not become monsters. When you gaze long into the Abyss, the Abyss gazes into you" Nietzsche.

This is a man who was paid to protect against and investigate Animal Cruelty.

So my first idiot award of 2010 goes to EX Animal Control Officer Alonzo Esco of Mississippi. It was discovered in January he would pick up stray dogs and, instead of going to the shelter, he would stop at a creek, shoot and then dump the dogs. Some of the stories have stated he confessed he "was too lazy to drive them to the shelter".

The police have discovered hundreds of Dogs shoot and dumped in the creek. He has been charged with multiple Misdemeanor charges.

This dirt bag not only killed owned dogs but made all of Animal Control look like idiots.

Great Food at Southern Recipes Cafe

This weekend I had chance to try the Southern Recipes Cafe in Richardson Texas. It has basic decor with great tasting Home Cooking. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was one of the best I have ever eaten in the area for only $7.49. It came with 2 vegetables, salad , and a roll. I Highly recommend this cafe and such a great treat to get away from all the chain restaurants, which all taste the same to me. The chains seem to make the meal overly salty and a grainy, chewy, cheap meat.
Southern Recipes Cafe puts them all to shame with a delicious meal.
This was my meal of Chicken Fried Steak, mash potatoes and Fried Okra. Really was enough to share, but it was so good I had to eat it all.

Dallas Auto-Rama 2010

I had the chance to see a lot of great cars at the 2010 Dallas Auto-Rama.
This John Deer is 90HP. I guess if you need to mow fast to catch the game this is the mower for you.

A few of my favorites this year and one day I may have one. Need to win Lotto first, stop laughing, it could happen.

Danger-Do not drive this car on a sunny day.

When the Camaro was a true muscle car and not a Transformer.

And a blast from the past.
